Who This Is For

A classroom in the Valley that does not get a lot of Christmases like this.

Telfair Elementary in the San Fernando Valley runs a PAL class. PAL stands for Preschool for All Learners, an LAUSD program for preschool-age children with moderate to severe special needs.

Every year Gammas and Compas Golf Club and the Gamma Scholar Foundation play one round to make sure those children have Christmas. Part of your registration buys each child a toy chosen for their age and their needs. The rest funds the classroom's programming for the rest of the school year.

Last year's tournament sold out. If you want a spot on the course this December, take it early.

Toys on the course

What lands under the tree

Not a generic gift. Each one is a special-needs enrichment toy built for sensory development and fine motor skills: bright colors, soft textures, easy-grip pieces, spinning wheels and pop-in parts that build hand-eye coordination. The design is sturdy and stable so children with different motor abilities can all use it. It is a toy that keeps working for the child long after Christmas morning.

Take Your Spot

Two ways in.

Both are 501(c)(3) tax deductible, and both put toys in that classroom.

$150

Per golfer

Your place in the shotgun start, and a toy in a child's hands on Christmas. Same price as last year.

If You Cannot Play

A toy costs less than a round.

Not a golfer, or December 18 does not work? A gift does the same job. It buys a toy, and it keeps that classroom supplied through the school year.
