Gamma Scholar Foundation invests in academic achievement, community service, and the next generation of leaders. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2019 by alumni of Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity, Inc., we award scholarships to students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees and partner with nonprofits whose work already serves our communities.
What We Do
Academic Excellence
We award scholarships to students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees, funded entirely by alumni giving and our annual events. In 2026 we funded ten recipients across seven campuses, from first-generation undergraduates to a third-year medical student.

We partner with nonprofits already doing good and noble work in our communities and amplify what they can accomplish: joint charity events, service drives, toy collections. Our recipients bring the same instinct: free health clinics in South Los Angeles, service on Skid Row, mentorship for first-generation students.

Our recipients are already leading: chapter presidents, deans and treasurers who rebuilt organizations, and first-generation students building programs where none existed. We invest in them now so they carry that capability into their careers and the communities they serve.
